Background and Credentials

Dr. Bernard Pallares is a Southern California native who grew up in the Glendale/Pasadena area. He obtained his license to practice from the prestigious University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry.

Before this accomplishment, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from University of California, Irvine. He now resides and practices in South Pasadena. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Gabriel Valley Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr Pallares started practicing Dentistry over 30 years ago in Arcadia CA. After leaving that practice and taking a short break, Dr Pallares took over the South Pasadena dental office of Dr Johnston Chu.

A Sincere Passion for Dentistry

Dr. Pallares has a passion for dentistry that was instilled at a young age. He truly enjoys it because it gives him an opportunity to give back to the world by turning frowns upside down using the latest and greatest dental techniques. He truly enjoys the challenge presented that each individual brings to the table – as we are all unique.

He continues to stay on top of the best practices and equipment being used in the industry today - adjusting his own dental office as often as possible to reflect any changes.
